hunter bennett

My name is Hunter Bennett, and I am a Geomatic Engineering and Land Surveying undergraduate student at Idaho State University with a minor in Geotechnology. I currently work part-time for Dioptra, where I have gained hands-on experience across boundary, construction, ALTA, FEMA, and UAV-based surveying projects. I hold a Part 107 Remote Pilot license and have a strong interest in the future of the surveying profession, particularly in the integration of drones, LiDAR, data analysis, and automation to improve efficiency while maintaining the integrity of boundary law and practice. I am passionate about giving back to the profession, supporting young surveyors, and helping ensure surveying continues to grow in both technical excellence and professional values.
